At Tharchives we carefully source, inspect, and authenticate every pre-loved designer and vintage piece so you can shop with confidence. Because our items are secondhand, each has its own unique history and condition (fully described in the listing and photos). Please read this policy before purchasing.

1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Derecho de Desistimiento)

For all online purchases you have 14 calendar days from the day you (or someone you designate) receive the item to decide you no longer want it – no reason needed. To exercise this right the item must be returned in the same condition you received it: unworn (beyond trying on), undamaged, with original tags/labels still attached where possible, and in its original packaging.

2. How to Return an Item

1. Contact us within the 14-day window at returns@tharchives.com (or use the contact form).
2. Include your order number and reason (optional).
3. We will send you a return shipping label or instructions.
4. Ship the item back within 14 days of notifying us.

3. Shipping Costs

• Change of mind / Right of Withdrawal: You cover the return shipping costs.
• Our responsibility (item arrives in worse condition than described, wrong item sent, authenticity issue, or damaged in transit): We will provide a prepaid return label and refund the original shipping cost + return shipping.

4. Refunds

• Once we receive and inspect the item we will process your refund within 14 business days:
• Full refund to the original payment method (including original shipping if we are at fault).
• We may deduct a small amount if the item shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection or is not returned in sellable condition.
• Gift cards / store credit returns follow the same rules.

5. Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and secondhand nature, the following cannot be returned under the 14-day right of withdrawal:

• Underwear, swimwear, and intimate apparel (unless faulty).
• Earrings and body jewellery.
• Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or show new signs of wear.
• Custom or made-to-order services (Bag Spa / Shoe Care).

6. Items Not as Described or Defective

If the piece does not match the description or photos, has a hidden defect, or fails our authenticity guarantee, you are entitled to a full refund (including return shipping) under Spanish consumer law. Contact us immediately – we take these cases very seriously.

7. Legal Guarantee for Secondhand Goods As required by Spanish and EU law, all our pre-loved items come with a minimum 1-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity (can be reduced by agreement for secondhand goods). This is separate from the 14-day return window.
