At Tharchives every pre-loved designer and vintage piece is carefully inspected and authenticated before it joins our collection. We take authenticity seriously so you can shop with complete confidence.
Our In-House Authentication Process
Our team in Jávea, Spain, personally examines each item using years of experience with luxury fashion and accessories. We check:
All inspections are done in-house by our dedicated specialists. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain the highest standards while keeping our prices accessible.
Rare Exceptions
For certain exceptionally rare, high-value, or complex pieces (e.g., limited-edition items, museum-quality vintage, or pieces above a certain threshold), we may consult trusted external experts or specialized authentication services. These cases are clearly noted in the product description.
Special Note on Bags
We handle most of our luxury handbag sales and restorations entirely in-house through our own Bag Spa expertise. The same rigorous in-house authentication process applies, with the same rare exceptions for ultra-special pieces.
Every bag is thoroughly inspected inside and out. Minor repairs such as a replaced handle, strap, or lining due to normal wear do not affect authenticity — these are common on well-loved pre-owned bags and are always transparently disclosed in the item description and photos.
Our Promise to You
Transparency & Secondhand Reality Because our items are pre-loved, they may show signs of gentle previous use consistent with their age and description. This does not affect authenticity. We always provide detailed photos, honest condition reports, and measurements so you know exactly what you’re receiving.
